MND Week is celebrated nationally in the first full week of May each year. MND Associations work together during this week to raise awareness of MND to realise the vision of a world free from the impact of MND. It is also a time to acknowledge the MND community and people living with MND today, and to remember those who have died. MND WEEK – what is happening in Victoria? The following events have been planned for MND Week 2009 – please click on the title of the event for more information.A Service of Hope & Remembrance will be conducted for people whose lives have been touched by MND, and each guest will receive a seedling to take home to be planted and to grow to symbolise life after MND, and hope for the future.
Members, their families and friends are warmly invited to join in this day’s activity. It would be helpful for seating purposes and catering if we could have some idea of the number of attendees, so an RSVP to the Association would be appreciated.
